What is Stugeron Tablet?

Stugeron 15mg tablets contain cinnarizine, an antihistamine used to treat motion sickness and manage symptoms of balance disorders like vertigo and Meniere’s disease. It helps reduce dizziness, nausea, and vomiting associated with these conditions. It works by reducing the activity of certain chemicals in the brain that are involved in causing these symptoms. This medication can also be used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy.

How Does Stugeron Work?

Travel sickness is a condition that is caused by repeated unusual movements such as going over bumps when one is travelling or going in circles when playing. Notably, the nerves located in the ears, muscles and eyes, are responsible for sending messages to the brain about a person's movement. When a conflicting signal is sent to the brain, it responds by causing the body to release chemicals to protect the body, but these chemicals can make a person feel sick. Stugeron is classified as an antihistamine that works by preventing the narrowing of blood vessels, thus facilitating a continuous circulation of blood to all vital organs. As a result, all nerves can send continuous information to the brain, this way, histamine chemical is not produced.
